Summer Weiss is a passionate marketing coordinator with a drive for keeping up with current trends and elevating organizations to their full potential. She graduated with a B.A. in Publishing with minors in Anthropology and German in 2015 from Illinois State University. Currently, she is pursuing an American Sign Language Interpreter Certificate from the College of DuPage. In addition to her full-time career in Marketing, she works as a barista on the weekends.
Known for her creative nature, Summer is skilled in various Adobe products, and enjoys crafting handmade decorative wood signs in her spare time. She is an avid reader, lover of podcasts, and attentive dog-mom. She has volunteered with a variety of organizations, including the Girl Scouts of America and a community theatre group—both on stage and behind the scenes. She is passionate about educating youth and helping them achieve their full potential.
Summer is committed to spreading The Maddog Strong Foundation’s mission. Having known the Grobmeier family for most of her childhood and all of her adult life, she is a firm believer in everything the Foundation stands for. As a registered organ donor herself, she understands that it isn’t just important, but essential, for families to discuss the decision to become organ donors.
